Course Description

Perhaps you have worked in Excel a time or two, but you are unsure how to do some of the basics. This hands-on class is designed for the beginner or someone with minimal Excel skills. Upon completion, you will be able to create and edit worksheets, perform calculations, and use a variety of functions.

  • Identify screen elements

  • Move from sheet to sheet

  • Rename a worksheet

  • Select worksheets

  • Insert new sheet(s)

  • Move, copy, and delete sheet(s)

  • Change the default number of sheets in a workbook

  • Enter text and numbers

  • Use AutoComplete

  • Enter information in a selected range

  • Replace and edit cell contents

  • Use undo and redo

  • Save and close a workbook
