Course Description

This class is designed for the user who would like to make use of Word’s more sophisticated timesaving features. Learn how to perform everyday tasks quicker and easier using AutoText, macros, and templates. Also, learn how to create and fill in an online form.

 

Course Topics

  • Create, insert, modify, and delete an AutoText entry

  • Print AutoText entries

  • Specify the macro security level

  • Record, run, edit, and delete a macro

  • Assign a new macro to a keyboard shortcut

  • Assign a new macro to a toolbar

  • Add a custom menu to the menu bar

  • Add a macro as a command on a menu

  • Delete a custom menu or menu command

  • Use templates

  • Apply a different template to an existing file

  • Create a new template using an existing template

  • Create a new template using a file

  • Change the default font

  • Create a new document using a wizard

  • Create a form template based on the blank document template
