Course Description

This class will uncover over 70 valuable Word tips. Learn timesaving toolbar, formatting, dialog box, and printing tips, just to name a few.

 

Course Topics

  • Open several files simultaneously

  • Change text case and line spacing

  • Find a synonym

  • Specify spacing between sentences      

  • Insert a nonbreaking space or hyphen

  • Insert a hyperlink

  • Remove a hyperlink from a web address

  • Select multiple text blocks

  • Use the Work menu to access documents

  • Use the Word Count toolbar

  • Display or hide a task pane

  • Animate text

  • Stretch or shrink text horizontally

  • Center a page vertically

  • Insert a custom page border and a graphic line

  • Select all text with the same formatting

  • Split a window

  • Print selected text and print multiple pages per sheet

  • Insert a text watermark and a picture watermark

  • Display a ruler only when needed

  • Select a rectangular block

  • Convert tabbed text to a table

  • Create a Word table from Excel data

  • Change text direction

  • Repeat the last action

  • Create a formatted AutoCorrect entry  

  • Apply multilevel numbers or bullets without using a dialog box
